“Playa” is often used to refer to someone who is smooth, charming, or skilled at interacting with others, especially in social situations. It’s a term associated with confidence, charisma, and a laid-back attitude. Additionally, “playa” can also be used to describe someone who is involved in a street-smart, hustler lifestyle.
“Ballplaya” appears to be a portmanteau of “baller” and “playa”. It convey the idea of someone who is adept at navigating social situations and associated with a successful and lavish lifestyle. Generally, it could describe someone who is skilled, confident, and possibly involved in a lifestyle associated with success, luxury and freedom.
